Automation Flows can be scheduled, run ad-hoc or run as the result of an Alert. In addition, an entire set of tasks can be targeted to execute on a specified server or tasks can be targeted individually for control over how the system is leveraged. Special control tasks can be inserted to continue based on certain conditions being satisfied.
Benchmarking can be enabled on automation elements to track performance over time. Collections of benchmark tasks can be created for organized reporting of various aspects of system performance. Tracking benchmark performance is useful for determining the effects of changes to the system such as:
- Upgrades
- Changes to organizational structure
- Product settings changes
- Hardware infrastructure changes
- Network infrastructure changes
- Performance optimizations
